Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server Liberty Profile * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: If you install an enterprise bundle * * archive (EBA) it is possible you will * * see the CWWKZ0001 message before the * * application started. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** An EBA application may report it has started before it has finished starting, attempts to use the application would result in an error. The problem can seen in the logs, looking like this: [6/25/12 21:36:23:282 BST] 000000fb com.ibm.ws.app.manager.internal.statemachine.StartAction A CWWKZ0001I: Application my.application started in 0.41 seconds. [6/25/12 21:36:23:321 BST] 00000105 com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.osgi.webapp.WebGroup I SRVE0169I: Loading Web Module: my.application. [6/25/12 21:36:23:321 BST] 00000105 com.ibm.ws.webcontainer I SRVE0250I: Web Module my.application has been bound to default_host. [6/25/12 21:36:23:321 BST] 00000105 com.ibm.ws.http.internal.VirtualHostImpl A CWWKT0016I: Web application available (default_host): http://hostname:8010/contextroot/* [6/25/12 21:36:23:321 BST] 00000105 com.ibm.ws.webcontainer.osgi.WebContainer I SRVE9998I: Application my.application added to web container. The CWWKZ0001 message should come after the other messages shown above and not before. The other messages above are information about the application starting and as such these should come first. The problem is caused by the code that waits to check if each part of the EBA has started before printing out CWWKZ0001 message not correctly waiting for all the information it needs.
