A ClassNotFoundException intermittently occurs for classes
provided from the JAR files defined within the <library>
element of the server.xml.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Libraries are processed asynchronously. This means that at
start time an application may call for a class in a library
before that library has been discovered. This fix ensures that
the library has completed initialization before any
application can call for a class it contains.


The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
