    ****************************************************************
    When the WS-Security SAML token consumer SAMLConsumeLoginModule
    consumes a SAML token, the SAML token is not made available to
    downstream login modules for further processing.

Problem conclusion

  • The SAMLConsumeLoginModule is updated to put the consumed SAML
    token shared state. It can be obtained by a stacked login
    module as follows:

    import
    com.ibm.websphere.wssecurity.wssapi.token.GenericSecurityTokenFa
    ctory;
    import com.ibm.websphere.wssecurity.wssapi.token.SecurityToken;
    ...
    GenericSecurityTokenFactory factory =
    GenericSecurityTokenFactory.getInstance();

    SecurityToken token =
    factory.getConsumerTokenFromSharedState(_sharedState,
    com.ibm.wsspi.wssecurity.core.token.config.SAML20_VALUE_TYPE);

    For a SAML 1.1 token, use SAML11_VALUE_TYPE.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6, 8.5.0.2. Please refer to the
