• java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError is thrown from the server when
  using the JMX REST connector

  *                      Connector from an app or from jconsole  *
  *                      you will receive an exception for a     *
  *                      class that is missing on the server's   *
  *                      classloader path.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The class, javax.net.ssl.HttpsURLConnection, is not visible
  from the REST Connector's classloader because it was not
  identified as a required import in its bundle manifest.
  

Problem conclusion

• The appropriate packages are now imported into the connector's
  classloader so that the classes are properly resolved.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.0.1. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
