Error description

VMM is returning bare userName for domain users while login,
which causes a clash with a localOS user with the same name.

Local fix

temporarily switch to a standalone registry rather than a
federated repository

Problem summary

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Virtual member manager (VMM) does not   *
*                      honor domain name and returns only      *
*                      bare userName during login, causing     *
*                      it to fail.                             *

When both the domain and local registry contain a user with an
identical name, then VMM does not allow either of them to
login and fails with a DuplicateLogonIdException. VMM should
consider the domain\userName on every call so that it gets the
intended user from the registry.

Problem conclusion

VMM will now carry the said complete userName (with Domain
details) and will not fail even if there is a username
collision in the local registry and domain.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6, and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
