Error description

Custom Advisor fails to make appropriate routing decisions for
http(s) or Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) requests in
Network Deployment edition with Websphere Virtual Enterprise.

Custom Advisor code relies on On Demand Configuration (ODC)
matching transportChainName to channel chain name to obtain
host, port and protocol information to make a routing
decision.  When WebSphere Virtual Enterprise is running, ODC
does not carry the defined name of the channel chains as they
are customizable and also a more generic naming convention is
followed to allow routing to non WebSphere Application
Servers. This results in Custom Advisor with incorrect host,
port and protocol

Problem conclusion

Custom Advisor code was updated to get host, port, protocol
information from server.xml and serverindex.xml configuration
files and not to rely on ODC.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6 and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
