'DSRA9110E: Statement is closed.' exception is occurring during
post-commit (afterCompletion) process for a transaction, as two
objects that have been registered with the same transaction are
performing cleanup of the same jdbc resources, and causing
conflicts

*                      is closed." may be logged without       *
*                      error.                                  *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

If an application using EJB CMP 1.1 persistence obtains a
connection to a datasource prior to calling any EJB finder
methods, it is possible an exception may be logged with the
following text: DSRA9110E: Statement is closed.  And, the
exception stack would include this method:
com.ibm.ejs.persistence.EJSJDBCPersister.returnPreparedStatement
This occurs after the transaction has completed, while the EJB
container is cleaning up the datasource resources that were
involved in the transaction, and one of the resources has
already been cleaned up.
This is not an error, and causes no function problems with the
way the application performs.

Problem conclusion

The exception is not a problem and will no longer be logged.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.27, 8.0.0.6, 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
