PM74039: WS-RELIABLE MESSAGING CAN NOT DELETE OR TERMINATE A SEQUENCE ID FROM THE ADMINISTRATIVE CONSOLE

Error description

When a WS-Reliable Messaging message can not deliver a message
to the web service (client) and  the message is re tried
multiple times, the Sequence IDs can not be deleted from the
Administration Console.

Additionally, the WS-Reliable Messaging function does not
automatically delete sequences that have been inactive for 12
hours.

When deletion of a WS-Reliable Messaging source sequence is
requested, the state of the source sequence is checked before
deletion occurs.  The checking algorithm was erroneous resulting
in the deletion not occurring when it should have proceeded.

Problem conclusion

The checking algorithm used to determine if a source sequence is
in the correct state to be deleted was fixed so that the source
sequence could be deleted when appropriate.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix pack 7.0.0.27.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
