In Network Time Protocol (NTP) client confifured system. Intermittently, a session timeout does not work(Session is still active after session timeout expired).

When the system clock is changed (for example, when Network Time Protocol is in use on the system), this can lead to issues with alarms firing or delaying unexpectedly.
Problem conclusion
The Alarm Manager was modified to utilize timing methods independent of the system clock. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.7, and 8.5.5.1.
