Error description

  • Using <Tab> key to switch among fields on 'Diagnostic
    Provider' panels stuck on "OK" button when text input field
    to the left of it is empty.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Using keyboard to switch among fields   *
    *                      on 'Diagnostic Provider' pages          *
    *                      gets stuck on "OK" button.              *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *

    All keyboard events for "OK" buttons on "Diagnostic Provider"
    pages are blocked until some text is entered in the "Quick
    link using diagnostic provider ID" input box.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix ensures that only <Enter> event causing action by "OK"
    button is blocked when no link provided in the text box.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.5.0.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
