APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• OutOfMemory largest consumer on the heap shows the following
  suspect:
  
  com.ibm.ws.amm.merge.applicationclient.manager.ApplicationClient
  DataManager
  

Local fix

• Root cause is ApplicationClientDataManager is not cleared
  properly during annotation scanning.  Fix to be supplied in the
  code stream.
  

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Applications using many annotations     *

  Applications that make extensive use of annotations in
  Application Client modules may cause a memory leak
  on the Deployment Manager process.
  The data structures responsible for storing Application Client
  annotations are not properly cleared.
  

Problem conclusion

• The annotation storage is now properly cleared for
  Application Client annotations.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.6 and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
