Error description

Auto-started applications can fail to initialize their
WebSphere Application Server security subject, causing
WebSphere Application Server administrative operations
performed through MBeans to fail.

Local fix

Disable application auto-start and manually start applications
following server startup.

Problem summary

For application start with security enabled, the process needs
to run with the system security subject; however, a path
existed in which that could be inadvertently avoided.

Problem conclusion

The proper security code was added to the uncovered
application start paths.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.6 and the fix pack following
8.5.0.2. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for
