    ****************************************************************
The script verifyGroupPerms.sh was introduced in 7.0.0.13 to
help users detect any files in their config root which may not
have group write permissions, which in turn can cause the server
to not start properly. This script did not check for group read
permissions however which when not enabled can also cause the
same issue of the server not starting properly.

Problem conclusion

  • The script was modified to check for both group read and write
    permissions.
