objects grows steadily when running an application that uses
the WebSphere Application Server Service Integration Bus.
Heapdump analysis shows that the path to the GC root is:
com/ibm/ws/sib/trm/wlm/client/Select

The number of com/ibm/ws/cluster/selection/rule/RuleEtiquette
objects grows steadily when running an application that uses
the WebSphere Application Server Service Integration Bus.
Heapdump analysis shows that the path to the Garbage
Collection root is:
com/ibm/ws/sib/trm/wlm/client/Select
When WLM cleans up cached objects used for the selection of a
messaging engine, it leaves behind references to RuleEtiquette
objects.

Problem conclusion

Code is fixed to remove references to RuleEtiquette objects
during cache cleanup.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.6, and 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the
