Error description
Some WebService providers require a pair of quotes enclosing the value of soapAction in RFH2 header, otherwise it returns an ActionMismatch soapfault. A soap Request sent from our JAX-WS client, which does not provide any options to control the format of the soapAction, might be rejected by some WebService providers with a fault Furthermore, according to WS Basic Profile 1,1 (http://www.ws-i.org/profiles/basicprofile-1.1.html), SOAPAction Header field-value must be quoted for Interoperability JAX-WS generates RFH2 headers: .... <soapAction>http://abc.com/MyService/getActDetails/response </soapAction> ... ... <contentType>application/soap+xml; charset=UTF-8; . WebService provider expects RFH2 headers: . <soapAction>"http://abc.com/MyService/getActDetails/response" </soapAction> ... ... <contentType>application/soap+xml; charset=UTF-8; .. ..
Local fix
Use JAX-WS handler to add the double quotes around value of SOAPAction
