Error description

  • The error is a "NoClassDefFoundError" when apache myfaces tries
    to move ViewState objects from HttpSession to ReferenceMap.
    
    Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException:

Problem conclusion

  • The JSF MyFaces MANIFEST.MF was updated to import the
    org.apache.commons.collections.map package so it can be used.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.6 and the fix pack following 8.5.0.2.  Please
    refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery
