Error description
After installing Fix Pack 25 (V7.0.0.25), entries might be written to the SystemOut.log containing the string "tableAlias" if JPA applications are running on the application server. The log entries will be similar to the following: . [1/15/13 1:57:39:096 UTC] 00000039 SystemOut O 1) tableAlias = [1/15/13 1:57:39:096 UTC] 00000039 SystemOut O 2) tableAlias =

Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server V7.0 who make use of a specific * * implementation of OpenJPA's * * @VersionStrategy. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: SystemOut.log contains the text * * "tableAlias" when a specific WebSphere * * implementation of @VersionStrategy is * * used. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Starting in WebSphere Application Server Fix Pack 7.0.0.25, there exists the potential for the SystemOut.log file to contain the following text: SystemOut O 1)tableAlias = This text is extraneous but may cause a user to question this entry. This entry is printed only under a very specific situation. That is, if an application uses OpenJPA and the following specific WebSphere implementation of an OpenJPA @VersionStrategy: "com.ibm.websphere.persistence.RowChangeTimestampStrategy" In addition to this, a table alias would need to be defined.
Problem conclusion
With this fix, the extraneous SystemOut entry has been removed. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in Service Levels (Fix Packs) 7.0.0.29 of WebSphere Application Server version 7.0.0.
