APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• In WebSphere Application Server v8.5, it is not possible to
  create multiple entries in the text box string for Trusted
  security proxies.  In WebSphere Virtual Enterprise V7, this
  was a text box where multiple lines could be entered.

  The Trusted Proxies field was changed from a multi-line text
  area input into a single URI input in WebSphere Application
  Server V8.5.
  

Problem conclusion

• The previous behavior seen in WebSphere Virtual Enterprise
  version 7 was the correct one, and WebSphere Application
  Server version 8.5 has been changed back to a multi-line text
  area.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.0.2.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
  page for delivery information:

Temporary fix

• Configuring the Trusted Proxies via the wsadmin command line wil
  still work as documented.
