    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Multiple application editions are in *
    * ACTIVE state on a target (server or *
    *                      cluster).                               *

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    If multiple applications are installed on a target
    (server or cluster), then only the first edition should be
    placed into ACTIVE state. All subsequent editions should be
    placed into INACTIVE state when initially installed.
    With this issue, programmatic installations (not using the
    console) result in multiple active editions.

Problem conclusion

  • Code changes were made to resolve the issue of having multiple
    active application editions on a single target (server or
    cluster).
    This fix will be included in the next available fix
    pack for WebSphere Application Server Version 8.5, WebSphere
    Virtual Enterprise Version 7.0, and WebSphere Virtual
    Enterprise Version 6.1.1. For information about recommended
