Error description
While simultaneously processing XML with both the IBM JAXB and XSLT runtimes a deadlock may occur. Problem conclusion
The IBM JAXB and XSLT runtimes were competing for locks on the ClassLoader and a bytecode generation tool called BCEL. The two components were acquiring these locks in opposite orders and that could lead to a deadlock if applications running in the JVM were simultaneously doing JAXB and XSLT processing. The problem was resolved by eliminating the condition in the IBM JAXB runtime where it simultaneously required both locks. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 7.0.0.29, 8.0.0.7 and the fix pack following 8.5.0.2.
