Error description

• When a comma is included in the path name of a Profile
  Management Tool for z/OS Customization Location, the
  Customization Instructions and Customization Response File
  views are a blanks for any definitions created within the
  Customization Location. Likewise, when a comma is included in
  the path name of a z/OS Migration Management Tool Migration
  Location, the Migration Instructions view is blank for any
  definitions created within the Migration Location.

  The WebSphere Customization Toolbox allow commas and other
  special characters to be included in the path names of
  Customization Locations and Migration Locations. When a comma
  is specified in a Customization Location path name, the
  Profile Management Tool for z/OS fails to display data in the
  Customization Instructions and Customization Response File
  views for definitions contained within the Customization
  Location. Likewise, when a comma is specified in a Migration
  Location path name, the z/OS Migration Management Tool fails
  to display data in the Migration Instructions view for
  definitions contained within the Migration Location.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IBM Installation Manager will not allow the path names of
  install images to contain any of the following special
  characters:
  
  *?"<>|;}{%,=+&'#^!`$[]
  
  The WebSphere Customization Toolbox will be updated to be
  consistent the IBM Installation Manager. That is, the
  WebSphere Customization Toolbox will be updated to not allow any
  of the above special characters to appear in the path names of
  the Customization Locations and Migration Locations that it
  creates or imports.
  
  APAR PM83380 is currently targeted for inclusion in the
  Service Level of WebSphere Customization Toolkit that follows
  Service Level 8.5.0.2.
