• A java.lang.NullPointerException may occur during application
  shutdown if an application is incorrectly installed into the
  deployment manager profile.

  Applications may be dependent upon some features which are not
  available in the deployment manager profile.  If a customer
  application is incorrectly installed into this profile, and
  these features are not present, a
  java.lang.NullPointerException may occur during application
  shutdown.
  

Problem conclusion

• WebContainer code has been modified to stop an application
  without error if it is installed on the wrong profile.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.0.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
