PM85423: OVERRIDDEN ENDPOINT URL" BEING LOST WHENEVER THE JAX-RPC APPLICATION IS UPDATED

Error description

Overridden Endpoint URL" being lost whenever
the JAX-RPC application is updated

Unfortunately the binding depends on the environment and can
not be hard-coding these endpoints, it would need to be done
every time the endpoint values have to be
edited.

Required behavior:It should need to be done only once at the
time of the application deploy.

Local fix

modify the ibm-webservices-bnd.xmi file your
JavaRegistriesEntityEJB.jar includes to contain the bindings
you need and then deploy the ear.

overriddenEndpointURI is the parameter at
ibm-webservices-bnd.xmi that included the "Overridden enpoint
URL" info.

Problem summary

When updating an application which is not includd in the
ibm-webservicesclient-bnd.xmi file, the value of
overriddenEndpointURI will be lost, no matter what binding
options (merge, use new or use existing) are chosen.

Problem conclusion

Fixed this problem to preserve the value of
overriddenEndpointURI even the updating application is not
included in the ibm-webservicesclient-bnd.xmi file. And all
the behaviors will follow the existing binding options.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.8, 8.5.5.2.  Please refer to the
