Error description

• If there is a problem making an HTTPs connection to the
  application server and an HTTP transport is available, plugin
  will use an http connection.

Problem conclusion

• The code has been changed so that plugin will not change
  to use non-secure connections by default if there is a problem
  making secure connections. If secure connections are defined
  and they can not be created, secure connections will fail. If
  you want to allow plugin to create non-secure connections when
  secure connections are defined (the old behavior), you need to
  create the custom property UseInsecure=true on the Servers >
  Web Servers > Web_server_name > Plug-in properties > Custom
  properties page.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.0.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
