Error description

  • An unexpected trace event may be observed in either the logs
or in an FFDC file. The exception may produce a stack with
something like the following at the top.

 java.lang.IllegalMonitorStateException: attempt to unlock
read lock, not locked by current thread
java.util.concurrent.locks.ReentrantReadWriteLock$Sync.unmatched
UnlockException

Problem conclusion


    

  • Websphere Application Server Liberty Profile 8.5.5 includes a
more recent version of Apache Felix Declarative Services that
does not produce these trace events.

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
Websphere Application Server Liberty Profile 8.5.5. Please
refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery
