PM86070: THE WSADMIN ADMINTASK.EXTRACTCONFIGPROPERTIES COMMAND DOES NOT EXPORT CONNECTION POOL DATA FOR A GENERIC JMS CONNECTION FACTOR

Error description

The wsadmin AdminTask.extractConfigProperties command can be
used to export the WebSphere Application Server configuration
into a properties file.  One of the available WebSphere Common
Configuration Model (WCCM) types that can be called by the
-selectedSubTypes switch is GenericJMSConnectionFactory.  This
should export both the connection pool and session pool data
for the Generic JMS Connection Factory.  However, only the
session pool data is extracted.  The connection pool data is
not extracted.

Here is an example command....

AdminTask.extractConfigProperties('[-propertiesFileName
genericjms.props -configData Server=server1 -options
[[PortablePropertiesFile true]] -filterMechanism
SELECTED_SUBTYPES -selectedSubTypes
[GenericJMSConnectionFactory ConnectionPool]]')


The resulting properties file will contain session pool data
(under the AttributeInfo=sessionPool attribute) but not
connection pool data (the AttributeInfo=connectionPool
attribute will be missing) for the GenericJMSConnectionFactory.

No error will be generated

The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
fix packs 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.7, and 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the
