Error description

• The following error is seen when the beanvalidation-1.0
  feature is the only feature enabled
  
  Start the server, the following errors are written to the
  console:
  [ERROR   ] FrameworkEvent ERROR
  Bundle:com.ibm.ws.javaee.dd(id=69)
  org.osgi.framework.BundleException: The bundle
  "com.ibm.ws.javaee.dd_1.0.1.20121001-2250 [69]" could not be
  resolved. Reason: Missing Constraint: Import-Package:
  javax.servlet; version="[2.6.0,3.0.0)" only beanvalidation-1.0
  feature is enabled

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Errors occur starting the Liberty       *
  *                      Profile server when only the            *
  *                      beanvalidation-1.0 feature is enabled.  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  The beanvalidation-1.0 feature definition does not properly
  declare all dependencies, resulting in errors starting the
  server when it is the only feature enabled. If other features
  are also enabled which include the missing dependencies, then
  the errors do not occur.
  

Problem conclusion

• The beanvalidation-1.0 feature has been corrected to include
  all dependencies. Errors will no longer occur starting the
  server when only beanvalidation-1.0 is enabled.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.0. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
