• REST connector client has JSONConverter marshalling problem

  The JSONConverter utility used by the REST connector was only
  expecting non-empty HashMaps inside its JSON structures and
  therefore was throwing an error when processing an empty
  HashMap.
  

Problem conclusion

• HashMaps are now properly processed, regardless of whether
  they are empty or not.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.0. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
