PM86324: CWWKS2911E APPEARS IN LOGS 5 TIMES FOR ONE ERROR

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After setting up a z/OS Liberty server for safRegistry and
  safAuthorization, a protected servlet is accessed and
  intentionally did not define the role in RACF.
  I get an error message as expected, but there are 2 problems:
  
  1) The CWWKS2911E message is printed out 5 times, when I
  accessed the servlet only once. The console log shouldn't be
  flooded with so many messages; once is enough.
  
  2) It's not clear whether the CWWKS2911E message is an error
  or a warning. It's prefixed with [WARNING ] but then ends with
  an E. The message id should be consistent with the Tr type.

  When the conditions are met for the "SAF resource profile does
  not exist" error, the error message CWWKS2911E is issued
  multiple times per servlet access attempt. Additionally, the
  message is issued at a trace level of WARNING despite being an
  error message.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code has been changed to ensure the message is only displayed
  once per occurrence of the error, and to issue the message at
  the correct trace level.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.0. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page
