Removing an application from the dropins folder may result in
the following incident report being generated.
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at
    com.ibm.ws.app.manager.internal.monitor.DropinMonitor.tidyUpMoni
    toredDirectory(DropinMonitor.java:246)
    at
    com.ibm.ws.app.manager.internal.monitor.DropinMonitor.refresh(Dr
    opinMonitor.java:210)
This is caused by attempting to remove a dropins directory
    before it had been set.

Problem conclusion

  • A null check was added to the directory being cleaned up to
ensure it is set before attempting to delete it.
