Error description
In WebSphere Application Server V8.0 on all operating systems some EJB mappings are missed.

**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All users of IBM WebSphere Application * * Server with Message Driven Beans * * containing references to other EJBs. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: EJB references inside of Message * * Driven Beans are not properly read. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** During application deployment, while mapping EJB references to enterprise beans, EJB references declared by annotation inside of Message Driven Beans are missing. No errors or logs are displayed. The only symptom is the EJB reference mapping list being incomplete.
Problem conclusion
A code change was made to update EJB processing to include a search through Message Driven Beans for EJB references. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix packs 8.0.0.7 and 8.5.5.0.
