PM88445: DEPLOYMENT OF APPLICATION WITH SKINS FAILS WITH OPENJPA PERSISTENCE EXCEPTION

Error description

• When setting DBType to be MYSQL and trying to deploy a project
  which includes a skin, the following error is returned:
  Failed deploying application to Worklight Server: The
  transaction has been rolled back. See the nested exceptions for
  details on the errors that occurred.; nested exception is
  <openjpa-1.2.2-r422266:898935 fatal general error>
  org.apache.openjpa.persistence.PersistenceException: The
  transaction has been rolled back. See the nested exceptions for
  details on the errors that occurred.
  

Local fix

• Increase the size of the max_allowed_packet variable in MYSQL to
  something larger than 1048576.

Problem conclusion

• The error message has been updated so that it correctly explains
  the issue and provides a suggested solution.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fixpack 5.0.6.1.
