APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Long Format of Date when used with LogViewer command was
  currently not acceptable. For example, 5th Feb 2013 can only
  be used as 2/5/2013 , and not as 02/05/2013 in mmddyyyy
  format.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: logViewer command for viewing HPEL      *
  *                      logs did not accept Long Format of      *

  When used with startDate and stopDate in a logViewer command,
  long format for date was not acceptable
  

Problem conclusion

• The logViewer command now accepts all types of formats for
  Date and Time.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix packs 8.0.0.8 and 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the
