Local fix

Problem summary

    * RECOMMENDATION:  Install a fix pack that includes this APAR  *

    WebSphere Application Server is reading ejb-jar.xml from the
    META-INF folder even when the web service is packaged with the
    EJB in a war file.
    

Problem conclusion

  • WebSphere Application Server is modified to read ejb-jar.xml
    from the WEB-INF folder for web services with EBJs packaged in
    war files.
    
    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 8.0.0.8 and 8.5.5.2.  Please refer to the
