Error description

When creating a new keystore in the administrative console with
path:

safkeyring://USERNAME/KEYRING

creation of the keystore fails with message:

Validation failed: Both password and verify password were not
supplied.

Local fix

Use AdminTask.createKeyStore command in wsadmin.sh to create
the keystore.

Problem summary

It was noted that it was not possible to create a keyring
keystore on the Websphere Application Server z/OS
Administrative Console.
It is possible to create the Keyring Keystore on wsadmin using
the format safkeyring:///keyring

Problem conclusion

The code was reviewed and updated in order to fix the issue
and allow the creation of the SAF Keyring Keystore on
the Websphere Application Server z/OS Administrative Console.

APAR PM90665 is currently targeted for inclusion in Fix Packs
8.0.0.8 and 8.5.5.1 of WebSphere Application Server.
