**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: IBM WebSphere Application Server users of * * JavaServer Pages (JSP) in Rational * * Application Developer. * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: A FileNotFoundException can occur * * while loading Tab Library Descriptor * * (TLD) files from a Jar file. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** In an Rational Application Developer environment, when the setting "Run server with resources within the workspace" is selected, a FileNotFoundException can occur when accessing a TLD file. The path to the Jar file can be incorrect and will result in a FileNotFoundException. This issue was caused by a change made in APAR PM76825, which was included in fix pack 8.0.0.6.
Problem conclusion
The JSP Container was modified to set the correct path to the Jar file when loading TLD files. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.0.0.7 and 8.5.5.1.
