Error description
absent the required offering update, the installation process of the Modern Batch FeP via the 64bit IM product will display a warning flag indicating the MB FeP may not be installable with the 64bit version of IM being used to do the installation. The Modern Batch FeP is capable of being installed with the 64bit IM product and so this warning message should not be displayed. This update to the offering file will suppress the warning message.

APAR PM90845 is being closed SUG because: the Installation Manager 64bit warning message, displayed during the installation of any product onto a 64 bit environment, did not cause the installation to fail. Removing the warning message from product install is a ease of use enhancement and indicates that the product being installed is 64bit tolerant. This update suggestion was deemed appropriate for Modern Batch Feature Pack and was therefore delivered. This requirement has been implemented in WebSphere Compute Grid Version 8.0.0.3.
