Error description
Data corruption when mutating copied elements that have been moved
Local fix
Problem summary
**************************************************************** * USERS AFFECTED: All IBM WebSphere Application Server * * Feature Pack for XML users * **************************************************************** * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: Original data is corrupted after a * * copy is moved. * **************************************************************** * RECOMMENDATION: * **************************************************************** Original data corruption after moving a copy can occur in 2 ways: 1) Original references are not always broken before moving a copy into another structure. As an example, this would make FastAccessCursor not be able to distinguish a copy from an original. 2) A flag was not being consistently set by xci's CacheManager.
Problem conclusion
The algorithm has now been corrected to fix the issues described above. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in XML Feature Pack 1.0.0.15. Please refer to the Recommended Updates page for delivery information: http://www.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=180&uid=swg27004980
