Error description
When WebSphere Application Server is uninstalled using the IBM Installation Manager, product 5733W85 option 1, 2 or 3 is removed from the system product registry even though another installation of that edition (Express, Base or Network Deployment) still exists.

The IBM Installation Manager uninstall logic removes the product option when no additional full profile installations exist for that option but fails to also ensure no Liberty profile installations exist for the product option before removing it.
Problem conclusion
The IBM Installation Manager uninstall logic removes the product option when no additional full profile (traditional Application Server profile) installations exist for the product option and was corrected to also ensure no Liberty profile installations exist for the product option before removing it. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.1.
