Error description

• An improperly configured logging value, used with Java SE
  bootstrapping could result in a stack overflow during JPA provid
  initialization. This fix refrains from logging if verifying log
  factory plugin during the configuration of the provider,
  preventing the stack overflow.

  provider initialization. This fix refrains from logging if

Problem conclusion

• This fix refrains from logging if an error is detected while
  validating an OpenJPA logger.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
