APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The Null Pointer exception occures when session is invalidated
  at the same time as the SipTimerTask fired.

  The NullPointerException is thrown during the long run as a
  result of a race condition where a java method getID() is
  trying to reach, at the same time, a call that has just been
  cancelled as a result of the expiration timer on the container
  thread.
  

Problem conclusion

• The task ID is now a member of the timer, so the getID()
  method is not called during the invalidation of the session.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
