Data is not written to the log file after enabling the task management service event log by setting the cell level custom property tmslog.enable=true. This is accompanied by NullPointerExceptions seen in class AsciiDataWriter.
Problem conclusion
The code was updated to properly write out log entries to the Task Management Entry log. The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in fix pack 8.5.5.1.
