Error description

  • When the replication domain is created and the cluster members
    are set to use it, none of the cluster members are displayed
    under the Replication Domain Members in the administrative
    console panel below:

    Environment -> Replication domains -> replicationDomain_name ->
    Replications Domain Members.
      - None

    The problem is due to the administrative console created a
    partial sessionDRSPersistence stanza in the server.xml file such
    as follow:

    <sessionDRSPersistence xmi:id="DRSSettings_1298430240687"/>

    A correct stanza should look like this:

    <sessionDRSPersistence xmi:id="DRSSettings_1298430240687"
    messageBrokerDomainName="MyRepDomain"/>

    ****************************************************************
    The console created a partial DRS stanza whenever changes were
    made to the session management or cookie panels. This stanza
    should not be created without a domain.

Problem conclusion

  • The DRS stanza is now only created when actually modifying the
    Replication Domain of an application server.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix packs 7.0.0.31, 8.0.0.8, 8.5.5.2. Please refer to the
