Error description

• See Defect  753160
  The files libNativeFile.so and libNativeFile64.so need to be
  added to the list of modules that need to have the APF bit set
  during z/OS install

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: File permissions specified to change    *
  *                      the access permissions for              *
  *                      application binaries are not            *
  *                      recognized during an application        *
  *                      deployment/edit/update operation on a   *
  *                      z/OS environment.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  When file permissions are changed during an application
  deployment/edit/update on a z/OS environment, the files in the
  direcotory where the application binaries are installed are
  not set with the new permissions.
  

Problem conclusion

• The logic has been fixed to apply the new file permissions to
  the application binaries.
  
  APAR PM97653 is currently targeted for inclusion in
  Service Level (Fix Pack) 8.5.5.2 of WebSphere
  Application Server V8.5.5.
