• Closed as program error.

Error description

• WebSphere HTTP plugin may crash when removeNode is processed.
  This may cause webserver to stop routing.

Problem summary

  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: When handling a cell topology update    *
  *                      which includes the removal of a node,   *
  *                      erroneous processing occurs which       *
  *                      leads to a crash.                       *

  * RECOMMENDATION:  Apache webserver restart restores routing.  *
  ****************************************************************
  For MPM enabled platforms, the Intelligent Management daemon
  process crash is noted in the apache error_log.
  

Problem conclusion

• The removeNode processing has been corrected.
  
  The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
  fix pack 8.5.5.1.  Please refer to the Recommended Updates
