Error description

  • Single Sign On might not work when multiple security Domain is
    enabled. When this condition happens, a client side trace has

    * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
    ****************************************************************
    Due to lack of information in LtpaToken2 cookie, while
    processing single sign on a downstream server, it might not be
    able to access an originating server via MBean call in order
    to acquire orignal Subject. As a result, single sign on might
    fail which might force to user re-login, or generates extra
    user registry accesses. This issue only happens in an
    application context when security domain is enabled.

Problem conclusion

  • With this fix, LtpaToken2 is constructed with sufficient
    information in order to perform single sign on via MBean call.

    The fix for this APAR is currently targeted for inclusion in
    fix pack 8.0.0.8, and 8.5.5.2. Please refer to the Recommended
