The secondary entry point count field in the passed parameters
overflows and returns an incorrect secondary entry point count
to Debug Tool. This results in insufficient storage being
allocated by Debug Tool which causes a storage overlay.

Problem conclusion

  • Increase the size of the field used to hold the secondary entry
point count so that the count value returned to Debug tool is
correct.

The changes in this APAR require that the PTF for the
corresponding Debug Tool APAR PI36219  is also applied to
complete the fix.
