This interim fix specifically relates to the m1 release of IBM Banking Process, Service and FSDM Models 8.3.0 (also called BPS83F)

This fix relates to the Financial Services Data Model (FSDM) element of the IBM Banking Process, Service and FSDM Models version 8.3.0

Important Notice
It is recommended that if you wish to maintain FSDM alignment with the new IBM Banking Data Warehouse version 8.3.0, you should replace BPS83F with BPS8301F or refresh your FSDM and BOM-FSDM mappings on your existing BPS83F model.

Detailed Description
Subsequent to the release of the IBM Banking Process, Service and FSDM Models 8.3.0, a new updated Financial Services Data Model (FSDM) has become available.
The new FSDM contains additional content to that which was released in BPS83F.

This 8.3.0 Interim Fix 001 (also called BPS8301F), is an m1 release containing the following:

    • A new Financial Services Data Model (FSDM) with revised mappings between the FSDM and the Banking BOM Services model
    • Banking Process Model as released in version 8.3.0
    • Banking Service Models as released in version 8.3.0
    • Updated documents and charts relating to the new FSDM

It is important to note that no changes have been made to the IBM Banking Process and Service Models as contained in the version 8.3.0 release.

The only differences between the BPS83F release and BPS8301F are
    • New content added to the Financial Services Data Model (FSDM)
    • Mappings between the FSDM and the Banking BOM Services model have been revised and enhanced as a result of the new FSDM content
    • Charts and documents relating to the new FSDM have been updated as stated below

New documents and charts have also been created based on the new FSDM and are included in version 8.3.0.1. These documents and charts supersede the documents and charts of the same name that were packaged with the BPS83F release.

Note: The following documents were packaged with the BPS83F release but have been not been updated or included in this release. However it should be noted that these documents were based on the FSDM of BPS83F and not on BPS8301F and are therefore obsolete.
