Abstract
As previously announced IBM will withdraw support for SAN Volume Controller V3.1.0 on April 24, 2009.

Per the Announcement Letter: Software withdrawal from support: IBM TotalStorage SAN Volume Controller Storage Software V3.1 - Replacements available released on the 11th September 2007, effective April 24th 2009, IBM will withdraw support for the following program licensed under the IBM International Program License Agreement.

If you are running a version of SVC software older than V3.1.0.5 then you will need to perform multiple upgrades to install the latest code release concurrently on your cluster. Please refer to the following Concurrent Compatibility information:

Important Upgrade Information
The SVC V3.1.0.5 code has now been removed from the web. Customers that require access to this code in order to upgrade to a later supported version of SVC should contact IBM Support for assistance.
