defined as a procedure-name.  The statement was discarded.

IMU V4.1 automatically deletes unused paragraphs from the
generated COBOL.  In doing so, it removes comments found
before the paragraph name.  This logic has a bug.  If there
are no report TITLE lines, the paragraph ??-ADJUST-PAGE
causes removal of the paragraph that follows it, even if
that paragraph is in use.  Removal is visible when comments
start in the data block before the paragraph data block.
(this problem is memory dependent).

Problem conclusion

  • The logic in FSIOR002 module that flags paragraphs for
deletion was corrected to recognize comments in data
block prior to the paragraph data area block.
